Year 3 Semester 2

Humans have a tendency to anthropomorphize objects in their lives. Giving them backstories and feelings. Almost like they see themselves in them. These attachments can be a way for Humans to compensate for a lack of interpersonal relationships or a symptom of a hoarding disorder. They hold onto these objects whether it's for sentimental reasons or feeling as though the object is special. They cling onto these very objects hoping that one day they will be of use.

This shows humans' deep seethed loneliness wanting to connect with anything to fill the void. That they long to be needed and reflect these feelings into the objects that they keep.

In Found Things- we hope to explore these feelings of needing connections and to be needed through layers of tough and soft fabrics and intense prints showing human’s inner desire to be found.
